It’s a desire that springs from the heart of the Gospels. We yearn for a closer relationship with Jesus Christ and with each other; we cry out: “We want to talk with you God, yet we’re at a loss. We don’t know how. Help us, Lord, teach us how to pray”.
Young adults are starving for meaningful, prayerful material that is relevant and speaks to their experience. These daily prayers do just that.
Jesus went on. “Here’s what I’m saying: ask and you’ll get it; seek and you’ll find; knock and the door will open. Don’t bargain with God. Be direct. Ask for what you need. This is not a cat-and-mouse, hide-and-seek game we’re in” (Luke 11: 9 – 10).
