Now, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, there are millions of people who find themselves now looking for work, most of whom have lost their job suddenly. Work involve more than just a paid job. Work is an investment of time and energy which the unemployed make too. Work is an opportunity to make a difference, to influence the world and improve individual lives, as well as the opportunity to earn a living. We may not have considered it before, but we can find a “spirituality of work” for the unemployed and let our spirituality affect the way we live our lives in between paid jobs.
